The cooler months may mean fewer tourists and more layers, but you’d be wrong to think Manly’s closed for business this Autumn. On the contrary, Manly (and Sydney) has a lot to offer, even if it’s wetsuit weather.
Not only does the Bureau of Meteorology think this autumn will be dryer and warmer than usual (see here if you think it’s too good to be true!), but any drop in the mercury will make staying active and seeing the best of the Beaches that much more enjoyable.
It’s the perfect time to lace up the runners and start training for the Manly Fun Run (or Rotary Fun Run and Walk), which will be held on the 21 May. There’s 2, 5 and 10km options to work towards – without having to train at the crack of dawn to beat the heat!
For those of you less so inclined, just remember: while there’ll be fewer visitors to our shores, the skies and the water will be just as blue this autumn, making autumn the perfect time to relax and enjoy Manly.
